Glory of Shame
Giclée on museum quality German Etching paper.
We are obsessed with winning in America, but what happens when we lose? In any competition there can be only one winner. Our media is so focused on the sole winner, it misses out on the other 99% of the competition. The over representation of winners leads us to believe that winning is norm, when the reverse is actually true. I believe this has an adverse affect on our worldview, because the constant bombardment of winners in media makes the rest of us feel like losers.
